Tokoroa High School Ball 2019
Wera Aotearoa Charitable Trust are very fortunate to have received funding from Pub Charity to support 15 rangatahi from Tokoroa High School to attend their High School Ball.
The 10 selected female students were able to indulge in having their hair and make-up done by the wonderful staff from Mai Salon who travelled from Rotorua to Tokoroa on the day of the Ball. And the 5 selected males travelled to Rotorua from Tokoroa the day before the ball to have their hair cut at Mai Salon.
On the day of the Ball, the WACT Tokoroa office was bursting with energy all day as the students and their whanau came and went through the office doors.
Before the students left to attend the ball, the females received beautiful flower corsages and the males received buttonholes prepared by Em’s Flower Girl.
Tokoroa High School showed their support for our kaupapa by providing an additional 15 students free tickets to the ball.
15 students, 1 hair stylist, 1 make up artist, 115kms, 273 makeup brushes, infinite memories
