Introducing Patricia Flood

No Te Arawa me Ngāti Porou ahau
I was raised in my fathers rohe of Rotorua surrounded by whakapapa, culture with a strong foundation of whanaungatanga and manaakitanga. With more than 25 years in health I spent a large portion of my career travelling, gaining a variety of skills and experience. In 2015 I returned home eager to give the best of me to my whanau, hapū and iwi.
Some of my experience in primary and secondary services have allowed the easy identification of gaps in our health system provision, some of what appeared to be preventable outcomes. My deepest professional incentives are to empower and educate Kaimahi, clients, and whānau, towards better understanding and improved health management.
I am excited and humbled to join WACT, an organisation that is passionate to play a pivotal role in the improvement, innovation and growth of health and social services. I look forward to working with our team who have an unwavering commitment to deliver those quality solutions to the community we serve.
